Quotation questions
What information do you need to prepare a quote?
The standards you need, the number of employees (including part-time and contractors working under your control), the number of sites and shifts, a short description of your activities and whether your system is already running. This lets us calculate audit duration accurately using the accreditation rules.
Is the quotation fixed?
Yes. Your quotation shows audit days for Stage 1, Stage 2, both surveillance audits and recertification, together with any travel. If your headcount, sites or scope change significantly during the cycle we will explain any adjustment before it applies.
How quickly will I receive the quote?
Normally within two working days of receiving complete information. If anything is unclear, a member of our team will call or email to check details rather than guessing, so the price you receive is the price you pay.
Is there any obligation once I receive the quote?
No. Requesting a quotation is free and without obligation. If you accept, we will send our terms of business and an application form, then agree audit dates with you.
Can you quote for several standards together?
Yes. Where your systems are integrated, combining audits usually reduces the total number of audit days. The quote will show the integrated duration and explain how it was calculated.
Do you charge more for sites outside major cities?
No. We do not apply a regional premium. Reasonable travel costs for on-site audits are calculated from your postcode and included in the quote, so the total is clear from the outset.
Can you meet a tender deadline?
Tell us your deadline when you request the quote. We will try to schedule Stage 1 and Stage 2 to meet it, but certification can only be granted once your system meets every requirement and any major nonconformities are closed.
What happens after I accept the quote?
You complete a short application, we confirm the audit team and agree dates, and you receive an audit plan before Stage 1. Your contact at Hexa stays with you through the full three-year cycle.
